Before he left for nursery the assistants presented us with a folder to commemorate his whole four years there, looking at the early stages, complete with photographic evidence, it was really strange to see him as such a young baby, and then progressing each year onwards, it was such a lovely keepsake which I hope he'll enjoy when he's older.
He is however looking forward to going to 'big' school as he calls it, his first two weeks will consist of half day introductions, and then he'll officially be going full-time to school. I am anxious as well as excited, but I cannot think too much about every little detail of what if's etc, I have to let him pave the way, its all up to him now that he learns, appreciates the early years of school but even at this early stage I hope that whatever he decides to do for his future, he does it to the best of his ability, and to grow with confidence.
As I can't post without a photo, here is the kid in his full France football kit!
