To let you know how I 'work' when I do weddings, my usual request is to visit the bride an hour or so before the ceremony starts, this gives me the time I need to photograph the bride getting ready; so I photograph the little details (as I have continually mentioned before, (shoes, dress, rings, bouquet, etc)) then having their hair and make-up done, getting into their dress, a few portrait poses with them and their bouquet, then photos with their mum or whoever is there at the time. Then I leave generally half an hour to get to the church, catpure the groom and best man etc, and then it goes on from there. I obviously discuss all plans with the bride and groom beforehand, who they would like in the group shots etc, any special requirements, this is all done in consultations before the wedding ever gets underway, I find that most enquiries are done at least a year or so with their chosen date, so everything is planned well in advance. I even had a booking in July of 2008 for their wedding in August 2010!
So as I like to post with photos here is another look at some recent 'beginnings' shots.
