...well you know the rest of the line. My mother always sung that particular song to me when I was tiny, and I can remember it vividly, so when I look back at those times it doesn't seem that long ago, but now I'm 30 I do wonder where those year's went. I guess everyone does. That's why I love taking photographs, its a memory frozen in time, and you can get to look at those photographs time and time again and remember those certain moments. I have a handful of old photographs from years gone by; some include me, others of certain members of the family, they all have that certain element of nostalgia about them that takes me back in time. I guess that's why I love that 'vintage' element in my processing of photographs, I like them to have that same sense of feeling about them. One of them in particular was a recent one I did in the 'Trash the Dress' session post yesterday, and also this black and white version of the 'bride's' daughter has that 'timeless' look about it.
